Dental Anesthesia in West MIchigan
Dental Sedation for oral surgery
Dr. Huizinga Explains Anesthesia
Anesthesia and pain control are at the core of what we do. We pride ourselves on our ability to ensure your safety and comfort during your surgery. Our training consists of a minimum of 4-6 months in the hospital on the Anesthesiology service, where we train to perform general and regional anesthesia, manage difficult airways, learn advanced patient monitoring, and administer life-saving treatments.
We are proud to have surgeons who are accredited in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and double board certified by both the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and the National Board of Dental Anesthesiology*.
To ensure we maintain the absolute highest standards of office anesthesia, including proper facilities layouts, crash carts set up, and up-to-date knowledge, we have independent third-party site evaluations annually.
